OUR STORY
Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense Escola de Futebol, also know as football School was founded on April 6, 1969.
The Grêmio Escola de Futebol project was initiated to develop young soccer players using the same methodologies and philosophies employed by the professional team and staff. The school's main objective is to provide top-level soccer training while promoting the values of discipline, respect and teamwork. At the school players aged 5- to 15-year-old are accepted and they are provided with the theory and practice of the sport, sportsmanship into upstanding citizen.
The Headquarters of the Grêmio School is located in the Parque Cristal Training center (CT Cristal), in Porto Alegre, capital of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Southern Brazil.
Currently the school has the collaboration of more than 100 affiliated schools which strengthen the club brand in Brazil and around the world with more than thirteen thousand athletes who are part of the institution.
THE GRÊMIO LEGACY
Grêmio FBPA Escola de Futebol Is composed of several youth teams from the age group of under-7 to the under-15 , and is considered one of
the most prolific football schools in Brazil, as well extremely recognized worldwide in the development from the Initiation through the highest levels of competitive development to the professional career.
One the most notable players from Grêmio FBPA Escola de Futebol was graduated in recent years include 2002 FIFA World Cup winner and two-time FIFA Ballon d'Or recipient Ronaldinho Gaúcho, former Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva, Sydney FC winger Douglas Costa, UEFA Champions League winner midfielder Anderson, 2016 Summer Olympic Games Gold Medal forward Luan, Girona midfielder Arthur, Flamengo winger
Everton, alongside many first team players, such as goalkeeper Gabriel Grando and centre-back Gustavo Martins.

Somos uma organização sem fins lucrativos 501 (c) (3) Tax Exempt, Youth Soccer Development Academy em parceria com um clube profissional brasileiro de primeira divisão, o Grêmio FBPA, de Porto Alegre, BRASIL. É um dos maiores times do Brasil, com fãs apaixonados e um dos maiores times de futebol do mundo. Eles são uma das academias de futebol juvenil mais reconhecidas do mundo no desenvolvimento de jogadores jovens. Estamos animados em trazer a metodologia brasileira, o jeito brasileiro de jogar para a comunidade de San Diego, Califórnia. Nosso foco é no desenvolvimento de jogadores de futebol jovens, desde a escola de futebol de iniciação até o mais alto nível do jogo, oferecendo um caminho para o nível profissional e oportunidades internacionais no Brasil, como excursões de olheiros e oportunidades de treinar com o clube brasileiro no nível de academia juvenil localizado em Porto Alegre, capital do Rio Grande do Sul, estado do sul do Brasil.
Nossos jovens jogadores terão a oportunidade de participar de viagens de reconhecimento e a possibilidade de ingressar na Academia Brasileira de Jovens, para um período de treinamentos e avaliações.
